Odense looks lovely!<br><br>H.C. Anderson wrote "The Little Mermaid" who sits in Copenhagen harbor, right?<br><br>And, Denmark is the only country invaded by Germany in WWII that saved the vast majority of their Jewish population, by treating them just like any other citizen deserves to be treated. C. Andersen</a>, most celebrated writer of fairy tales. One of his most touching, as well as most famous and celebrated stories is <a href="http://www.andersen.sdu.dk/vaerk/hersholt/TheUglyDuckling_e.html">The Ugly Duckling</a>, in which an 'ugly duckling' goes through a lot of hardships, to later find he's turned into a beautiful swan.<br><br>It's only fitting we have this swan family around here :-) For those of you who wouldn't know, Odense is the birthtown of H.
